CORPORATE
TERRORISTS
ATTACK
STATUE
OF
LIBERTY
AND
UNDERMINE
THE
CHILDREN'S
FAITH
OVERVIEW
OF
STORY:
Children
from
all
over
America
send
pennies,
nickels
and
dimes
to
help
restore
the
Statue
of
Liberty.
Little
do
they
know
a
vast
amount
of
that
money
is
being
wasted
by
high
salaried
executives
who
pay
$45,000
a
year
to
have
a
dog
chase
geese
from
the
island,
or
that
such
executives
make
hundreds
of
thousands
of
dollars
extra
a
year
consulting
for
other
non-profit
companies
while
the
Statue
of
Liberty
remains
closed
to
the
public.
See
if
you
agree
that
violating
the
children's
trust
is
a
crime
of
Corporate
Terrorism.
GROUND
ZERO
PLUS
1084
DAYS,
New
York,
NY,
July
31,
2004--Corporate
Terrorism
is
attacking
the
Statue
of
Liberty.
It's
eating
at
the
foundations
of
a
lot
more
than
our
nation's
symbol
of
freedom
and
opportunity.
It's
wounding
the
trust
and
confidence
of
the
children.
The
Restoration
of
Lady
Liberty
has
been
undermined
by
Corporate
Terror
Greed
is
one
of
the
Seven
Deadly
Sins.
And
according
to
a
recent
Senate
inquiry
into
the
fund
raising
for
the
restoration
of
the
Statue
of
Liberty
there
has
been
a
gross
mishandling
of
funds.
The
most
egregious
of
them
is
the
pay
given
by
the
fund
raising
foundation
to
the
president
of
the
Statue
of
Liberty-Ellis
Island
Foundation,
a
Mr.
Stephen
A.
Briganti.
It
seems
Mr.
Briganti
boasts
a
salary
for
running
the
foundation
of
$300,000,
and,
he
also
earns
hundreds
of
thousands
of
dollars
working
for
other
non-profit
organizations
while
the
Statue
of
Liberty
remains
unopened
to
the
public.
Restoration
of
the
Lady
was
supposed
to
be
completed.
She
was
closed
to
the
public
following
the
Terrorist
attacks
on
Nine
Eleven.
The
Foundation,
according
to
Griffin
B.
Bell,
former
U.S.
Attorney
General
who
heads
up
the
Senate
committee
investigating
allegations
launched
by
the
New
York
Times
regarding
the
mishandling
of
funds,
has
not
been
able
to
justify
the
excess
salary
of
Mr.
Briganti.
But,
the
issue
is
far
greater
than
just
a
bloated
executive's
pay.
There
is
a
battle
raging
between
the
Foundation
and
other
groups
seeking
to
raise
money.
Mr.
Briganti
wants
sole
and
exclusive
rights
to
fund
raising,
despite
the
fact
he
has
not
managed
the
project
effectively.
Here's
the
rub.
Huge
chunks
of
the
money
donated
come
from
children
who
save
pennies,
nickels
and
dimes
to
send
to
the
Foundation
so
that
the
icon
of
Freedom
and
Liberty
can
be
polished
and
refurbished
for
their
children.
Donations
from
children
et
al
are
being
mismanaged
They
don't
know
that
a
big
chunk
of
their
pennies,
nickels
and
dimes
is
being
swallowed
up
by
Mr.
Briganti's
voracious
wallet,
or
being
mismanaged
or
dislocated
so
that
the
work
doesn't
happen
but
the
fund
raising
does.
One
of
the
issues
noted
by
the
Senate
investigation
was
the
payment
of
$45,000
a
year
for
a
dog
to
chase
geese
off
the
island.
It
is
doubtful
the
classrooms
of
children
filling
up
a
coin
jar
to
send
its
donations
to
the
Foundation
know
they
are
funding
Alpo
and
"Geese
Terror."
Terrorism
isn't
just
about
someone
blowing
up
a
subway,
or
flying
a
plane
into
a
building.
It's
about
undermining
the
confidence
and
trust
of
a
people's
security.
It's
about
destroying
the
faith
people
have
in
their
institutions.
One
of
the
great
attacks
Terrorists
zero
in
on
is
the
icons
of
a
nation
or
belief
system.
They
will
come
into
a
land
and
deface
and
destroy
monuments
in
an
attempt
to
demoralize
the
mass
of
humanity
that
reveres
such
symbols.
But
there
is
"Terror
Within"
far
more
insidious
than
the
"Terror
Without."
That
is
when
we,
people
of
our
own
beliefs
and
breed
on
the
same
footing
as
one
another,
turn
against
our
own
children
and
Terrorize
their
faith
and
belief.
The
Statue
of
Liberty-Ellis
Island
Foundation
is
under
scrutiny
The
Statue
of
Liberty-Ellis
Island
Foundation
is
under
the
microscope
now
thanks
to
the
New
York
Times
and
other
news
agencies
questioning
why
the
Statue
of
Liberty
isn't
open
to
the
public.
That
microscope
uncovered
"Corporate
Terrorism,"
where
individuals
would
line
their
pockets
with
the
funds
of
a
nation
first
and
foremost
rather
than
take
on
the
duty
and
responsibility
to
serve
those
funds
properly.
In
a
personal
case
I
have
with
Corporate
Terrorism,
my
family
was
violated
by
a
multi-billion-dollar
insurance
company
that
cancelled
a
thirty-year
disability
policy
on
flim-flam
grounds.
The
executives
of
that
company
ended
up
getting
$93
million
in
a
merger
with
another
company.
The
size
of
their
wallets
overcame
the
duty
and
responsibility
to
serve
one
small
client.
I
would
like
to
see
someone
launch
a
class
action
suit
against
the
Statue
of
Liberty-Ellis
Island
Foundation
on
behalf
of
all
the
children
who
sent
nickels,
dimes
and
pennies
under
the
false
belief
their
funds
would
re-open
the
Statue
of
Liberty.
They
have
been
duped.
But
more
importantly,
they
have
been
the
victims
of
Corporate
Terrorism.
They
have
been
assaulted
by
the
Beast
of
Terror
who
ate
their
pennies,
nickels
and
dimes
and
puked
up
the
waste
after
sating
himself
first.
Now,
the
Beast
wants
to
raise
more
funds
and
deny
anyone
else
the
right
to
raise
funds.
The
Foundation
has
become
the
bully
on
the
block.
It
is
the
mafia
trying
to
quash
all
competitors
so
the
fat
cats'
bellies
can
keep
bloating.
And
along
the
way
the
children
suffer.
And
the
parents
turn
their
heads
or
are
blind
to
the
duty
they
have
to
protect
their
children.
The
mishandling
of
the
fund
is
like
putting
a
gun
to
the
heads
of
children
who
see
Lady
Liberty
as
the
gateway
to
Freedom
and
Liberty...and
to
her
head!
Terrorism
is
about
inflicting
Fear,
Intimidation
and
Complacency
into
people.
Right
now,
the
Statue
of
Liberty
Foundation
has
done
a
great
job.
It
cries
out
for
funds
to
restore
Miss
Liberty,
and
makes
people
afraid
that
if
they
don't
send
donations
Miss
Liberty
will
fall
into
a
pile
of
crumbling
iron
and
steel.
It's
like
putting
a
gun
to
the
heads
of
children
who
see
the
symbol
as
the
gateway
to
Freedom
and
Liberty.
Such
a
crime
of
mishandling
the
Statue's
funds
is
unconscionable.
Yet,
the
executives
slip
and
slide
through
the
fine
print,
escaping
being
harpooned
by
the
real
facts--that
they
are
stealing
the
children's
money
and
their
faith
that
someone
is
protecting
them.
For
this,
the
most
severe
of
penalties
should
be
attached,
and
that
is
the
label
of
Corporate
Terrorist.
