Why
Vote?
Why Not Vote?
Ask The Beast Of Terror...

GROUND
ZERO PLUS 1146 DAYS,--New York, NY, Monday, November
1, 2004--Voting
isn't about chosing between one candidate or another, or taking
sides on one issue versus the other.
Voting
is about Vigilance.
Voting
is the ultimate act of TerrorHunting
It is
the ultimate act of TerrorHunting.
Terrorism
is defined as the conspiracy of Fear, Intimidation and Complacing
seeking to make a person powerless over himself or herself,
to isolate and obliterate a person's sense of safety and security.
For
those who live in a democracy, the only way to insure that the
individual is not simply a grain of sand on the beach to be
stomped, kicked, ground, sifted and tossed to the winds is to
turn that sand into a granite rock, a monolith of incredible
strength and power.
Voting
does that.
The
single grains of sand on the beach bond during an election to
become one voice, to speak out as a unified whole, to flex muscles
that those in power fear may strike them from office.
It is
the power of the vote, not the vote itself, that matters.
The
Power of The Vote, not the vote itself, matters
Those
who chose not to vote endanger the whole. Similar to a front
line where each individual is in a foxhole protecting the perimeter
from invasion, the more people who choose not to vote makes
more gaps in the perimeter.
Terrorism--Complacency--slip
through these gaps and the whole of the voting power is weakened.
The "voice of the people" is dulled, smothered, suffocated.
Over
time, people who don't exercise the right to vote receive the
least capable respresentatives. The greatest fear of any politician
without a firm public forum is that all the voters will vote.
Lincoln
said it best: "You can fool some of the people some of
the time but not all of the people all of the time."
Voting
is the exercise of Vigilance. It is telling politicians that
they are not in charge of your future or your children's future.
It is reminding them you are.
The
fewer numbers of people who vote tell the politicians that they
are in charge of your future and your children's future because
you do not care enough to exercise your power over them.
Fight
Terrorism --VOTE!!!
The
ultimate Terrorism is living with the least capable leader who
threatens and endangers our children and nation through actions
of selfishness.
If you
want to truly fight Terrorism, then vote. Vote not for any other
reason than to stand up to the Beast of Terror who wants you
to be Complacent and refuse to exercise your collective power.
Fool
the Beast.
Vote,
not just for yourself, but for the children, to remind them
of their duty to protect the power of the people over the power
of the politicians.
